Double majoring is when you are working towards completing two majors within the same timeframe.
First year students must wait for their second year to officially declared a double major by submitting the Multiple Major Packet.
As you wait, here are a few early steps you can take to prepare:
- Meet with your BAC academic advisor to discuss details about double majoring.
- Create a four-year graduation plan with both majors, to determine you can complete both double major within four year.
- This will be taken to consideration when your multiple major packet is review.
- There are no additional semesters allowed to complete a double major.
- Summer sessions do no count against the maximum number of semesters allowed.
