Select your intended major to see requirements and a sample 4-year graduation plan in that major.
Faculty-approved course recommendations for each semester in your intended major are available in both MyDegreePath and in the Catalog.
Fall admits: meet with your BAC academic advisor in September or early October to discuss a plan for your spring semester classes.
Waitlists for closed classes are available but end on the 5th day of classes each semester.
Always enroll in 14-16 units during your assigned time to have the best choice of classes and class times.
Enrolling in 12 or more units during your assigned time will trigger full-time status.
Most students enroll in 14-16 units each semester.
You can enroll in a maximum of 18 units in your first semester at UC Merced.
Being enrolled full-time is especially important if you qualify to receive financial aid at UC Merced.
