Repeating A Course

A student may only repeat a course in which a letter grade of D, F or Not Passed (NP) has been received as the final grade. The only exception is WRI 001, where a repeat is required if student receives a C- or lower as the final grade. Students cannot repeat a course that has not ended and must wait for final grades to be posted on their unofficial transcript.

All first repeat of any course is provided through the Registrar's Office and does not required any permission from your BAC academic advisor. Any addtional attempt to repeat a course will required the approval of the appropriate Dean.

If student repeat a course and received a passing grade on the second attempt, the new grade will be calcluated into the student's GPA, while the first attempt will no longer impact the GPA. Both attempts will be visible on the student's records. This process only applies to the first 16 units of first time repeat.

For more information, you can visit the Reptition of Course policy.
