Advising appointments will be available for Fall 2026 first-year and undeclared transfer students starting in July. New students for Fall 2026 are welcome to meet with an advisor during virtual walk-in hours. Keep an eye on your UC Merced email for a welcome message and information about appointments in mid-June!

Students declared in a major program (first UCM semester Fall 2025 or Spring 2026) have now been assigned to a major advisor for their second year. You can identify your advisor and find their contact information on the following sites:
