The Schedule of Classes (open course list) shows courses offered each semester and is posted online usually 3 weeks before registration begins for that semester.
- New version (established in 2022): shows open seats as well as seats available on the waitlist
Click on the CRN (5-digit number) to review prerequisites or restrictions for a class.
Some classes may be limited to students who have:
- Declared a certain major
- Attained a specific class standing (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student)
- Completed prerequisites that must be met before taking this class
PLANNING OUT AN IDEAL SCHEDULE
You can also use the course schedule to plan in advance for an ideal schedule for the upcoming semester. Use the course schedule to identify the the courses you hope to take and see if their schedule time works with your personal plans.
Planning your schedule in advance can make the registration process much easier. You can search a course by its Course Reference Number (CRN) to find the exact course you want to register for.
It is also important for you to have multiple back up plans as course fills up quickly during registration.
