Undergraduate Studies (USTU) 10: Introduction to Undergraduate Studies
This interactive 1-unit course is designed to help new first year students navigate campus life and develop strategies for effective learning at UC Merced. Class assignments include reflective writings and engagement in campus activities that promote self-empowerment and academic success. Taught by a variety of instructors. Some sections of USTU 10 are restricted to first years living in specific residence hall Living Learning Communities while other sections are open to all first years. Pass/no pass grading only.
