- Outdoor Experience Program adventures expose UC Merced students to the beauty of nature and diversity of recreational opportunities in California.
- Most programs are a single day adventure and have a small fee to cover transportation and other costs.
- Recent adventures included snowshoeing in Yosemite National Park, a Valentine's Day trip to San Francisco, kayaking in Elkhorn Slough with sea otters, surfing in Santa Cruz, elephant seal viewing at Ano Nuevo State Park, a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and horseback riding on the California coast.
