MyDegreePath: Creating a Grad Plan

Learn how to build a draft graduation plan on My Degree Path (MDP) and customize your plan based on your personal goals and intended graduation date.

Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 admits:  MDP grad plans for your Catalog year (2024-25) are now available.

  • The great news:  you can start to build a a draft graduation plan as soon as the plans for your Catalog year are available in MDP.

    • What is your "Catalog year"?  Check out the short videos below!

  • Developing a draft graduation plan in your first year will help you:

    • Know which classes you plan to take before your assigned registration date for the next semester and

    • Graduate on time.

  • Transfer students must load a draft grad plan in MDP during their first semester at UC Merced.

  • Non-transfer students must load a draft grad plan in MDP by the first semester of your second year.

  • To declare or change your major, first years do not need to load a draft graduation plan on MDP.
